Some of the orange on the breast is from the setting sun. ;)

The color is partly due to the setting Sun, I think.

You capture the most amazing bird photos -- this little one is just gorgeous!

So, how many bird feeder DO you have in your yard? LOL!

Thanks!

This one isn't that great. I decided to try out auto-iso and this one is ISO3200 so it's noisy and lost a lot of detail in denoising. :(

Currently, 1 seed feeder and 2 suet feeders.

Yeah, well, it's still an awesome shot. ;)

I'd like to put up some bird feeders -- but it seems my chihuahua is going to deliver puppies in about four weeks. Every extra penny I have is going into dealing with a pregnant dog. LOL Not to mention, we have a LOT of crows and they kinda chase away any other birds. It's kind of annoying. I have a small yard and at any given time there are about ten crows sitting there.

Take pics of the crows. :D

Maybe they've formed a roost and your yard is their clubhouse.

LOL... Figures that the yard would be absent of crows at the moment. O.o I think the weather is about to turn nasty. It's iffy looking out there.

Why does it cost money for a dog to have puppies? My cats used to have kittens without charging us anything. :D

LOL... Cause they are chihuahuas. The heads are extremely large in proportion with the body and you have to count on the possibility of an emergency c-section. I've been lucky with the last two litters -- but you always have to be prepared. If a puppy is breach, you'll lose the momma and all the other pups without veterinary intervention. Chihuahuas have the toughest time having puppies of almost every breed there is. Those huge domed heads are their birthing downfall. It's the equivalent of a human woman having a baby with a normal body and a head twice the size of an adults...

Of course if human birthing went like that, the population would be extinct. :XD:

Chihuahuas are also prone to "water babies". *sighs* I've been lucky not to have any with my girl, but it can happen and does way too often.

But you're going to sell the pups for a hefty sum when they're old enough, right? :D
